
Accrew Text Message (SMS) Policy
This Text Messaging Consent Policy (“Policy”) explains why and how Accrew (“we,” “us,” or “Accrew”) send SMS/text messages to your mobile device, how you consent (opt in), how you withdraw consent (opt out) for non-mandatory messages, and what kinds of texts you may receive. This Policy is presented separately from our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and must be agreed to during the mobile app sign-up process.

At sign-up (or when you add/verify your mobile number), you will see two separate, prominently displayed checkboxes:

Required Security & Account Messages
☐ I authorize Accrew to send me SMS text messages for Two-Factor Authentication, account security alerts, and transaction alerts.
By checking this box (required), you agree to receive mandatory SMS messages for 2FA, account/security alerts, and transaction alerts. Message and data rates may apply. -
Optional Service Updates & Feature News
☐ I agree to receive SMS text messages about new features, scheduled maintenance, and other service updates from Accrew.
By checking this box, you consent to non-mandatory SMS messages. Message and data rates may apply.
Note: If you decline or later withdraw the Required Security & Account Messages consent, you will be unable to log in or perform key security functions. To continue using Accrew, you must use SMS-based 2FA or select an alternate 2FA method (e.g., an authenticator app).
3. Opt-Out (Withdrawal of Consent)
You may opt out only of Service Updates & Feature News at any time by replying STOP to any Accrew text. Upon receipt, we will immediately send a confirmation:
“You have successfully unsubscribed from Accrew service updates and feature news via SMS.
To resume non-mandatory SMS, reply START or re-enable SMS in your Account Settings.
For mandatory security messages (2FA, account alerts, transaction alerts), see Account Settings.”

STOP disables only Service Updates & Feature News.

You cannot opt out of Two-Factor Authentication, Account Alerts & Security, or Transaction Alerts if you wish to continue using the app.

“ACCREW LARGE TRANSACTION: $545.23 at Target on June 18, 2025. If this wasn’t you, reply NO.”

“ACCREW SERVICE NOTICE: Scheduled maintenance tonight from 11 PM–1 AM CT. You may experience brief downtime. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”
5. Message Frequency & Carrier Rates

Frequency: Up to 5 OTPs per day; up to 3 security/transaction alerts per day; occasional service updates.
