What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

To enhance the security of your Accrew account, we offer SMS-based Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This means you will receive a one-time passcode via text message to verify your identity when logging in or performing sensitive actions.
How to Opt-In
By signing up for the app and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive security-related text messages from Accrew.

To enable SMS 2FA:

Download the Accrew Mobile App.

Register for a new account by providing your mobile number in the sign-up process.

Example confirmation message:
"Your SMS-based Two-Factor Authentication has been activated for your Accrew account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Your confirmation code is 555-555"

How to Opt-Out
You can disable this feature anytime if you no longer wish to receive SMS-based 2FA messages.

To opt-out via SMS: Reply STOP to any SMS message from Accrew.
Once you opt-out, you will receive a confirmation message stating that SMS 2FA has been disabled.

Example opt-out message:
"You have successfully disabled SMS-based Two-Factor Authentication for your Accrew account. If this was a mistake, please contact us at support@accrewmoney.com or call (844) 988-1775."
